Curious if you could temporarily house a fish that will eat the larvae (some of your cherry fry and juvies maybe a causality of war). A dragonfly’s lifespan can vary greatly, from 6 months to several years. unfortunately i don't know much about dragonfly larvae, but i can tell you that the larvae takes about a year or longer before it will fly away, so your shrimp will be in danger if the larvae remain in the tank. ![]() They are of no threat to your fish and are actualy a benifit as damsels are EXTREEMLY good mosquito eaters. The dragonfly is a fun-to-raise but difficult-to-control pet. No need to kill them once they have emerged. Littlecobras is a damselfly but due to the blur I can't say for sure which species.
